The Brussels-based King Baudouin Foundation (KBF), named after Belgium’s late head of state, is a leading foundation in Europe and a founding member of the European Foundation Center. KBFUS can accept contributions in cash or in appreciated property, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds or real estate. In some circumstances we can accept donations of collections or works of art. We also accept bequests, which may include a suggestion of a recipient charity overseas. Because KBFUS is a 501(c)(3) public charity, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions.
